Pianolessons
Technical and musical deepening
In addition to my career as a concert pianist, performing across Europe, I have been dedicated to teaching piano for over twenty years. I hold a Teaching Diploma and a Master of Music degree from the Royal Conservatory in The Hague, and I further specialized in Lied accompaniment during a year of advanced study at the Conservatory of Brussels.
My teaching is particularly well-suited to students with a strong intrinsic motivation to deepen their musical development. Lessons are held on Mondays and Thursdays, on a beautifully maintained, top-quality Bechstein grand piano.

Coaching for singers
Deepening Interpretation and Musical Text Experience
Alongside my career as a concert pianist, my true passion lies in song accompaniment. During my master’s studies at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague, I specialized in song accompaniment under the guidance of Han-Louis Meijer. This was followed by a year of intensive masterclasses in song interpretation in Brussels. I had the privilege to learn from distinguished artists such as Christa Ludwig, Nathalie Stutzmann, Christian Gerhaher, and Julius Drake.
Throughout my professional journey, I have collaborated with exceptional singers including Quirijn de Lang, Renate Arends, and Carina Vinke, performing on renowned stages such as Carré, the Concertgebouw, and De Doelen. Beyond performance, I have accompanied countless singing lessons both privately and at the conservatory, and have developed a dedicated practice in coaching singers.
I offer personalized guidance and coaching tailored to singers seeking to deepen their interpretative skills, phrasing, and connection to the text. Areas of focus include:
- Interpretation of text through music
- Musical phrasing and breath control
- Repertoire coaching for concerts, examinations, and auditions
- Exploration of song, oratorio, and contemporary repertoire
